This was originally only supposed to be a doodle for caption contest being held by one of the members of HBO (Halo.bungie.org)
Unfortunately for me... and lucky for whoever the lucky prizewinner is, I can't ever seem to just leave sketches as sketches... and it turned into this! I had all sorts of problems with it, most centered around the left arm. At one point I got so frustrated with it that I cut it off in the sketch and he had a bloody stump! As with most of my pictures there is a story here but it's short. Chief, in all of his Spartan glory was walking around some random construct and a very angry Elite thought that he would get the best of Chief. Chief wound up making a misstep (Super human doesn't mean he doesn't have klutzy moments) and fell onto the side of this thing and began to slide. The impact blasted his battle rifle away from his back (Magnetics) and it is currently following behind him (Which is what he is groping for). Lucky for him the holster for his pistol is right there in his leg armor so Instant retaliation! Woo! I also liked the idea of a duel wielding Elite!!! Thanks HGN <3! ok I go now... bye bye |
