As Luck would have it It was brought to my attention that I am now free to post my “Secret Project” I had been working on for 3 weeks.

For a tiny bit of history:

About a month ago I was asked if I wanted to participate in a secret little project to provide some fans with a prize for an E3 LAN party that happens every year that’s biased around Halo. I was actually giddy at the thought of this because, A.) This was going to be my first E3, and B.) OMG HALO LAN PARTY… anyway >_>

Miguel Chaves, and our beloved Louis Wu from [link] asked me if there was anything I wanted to donate… and I said… Screw given ya old stuff! I wanna make something new!

And So I did. But little did I realize exactly what I was getting myself into, What was originally only supposed to take me about a week, took me 3 because for whatever reason I wanted this thing to look REALLY REALLY good. I wanted to make it Portfolio worthy, so I literally put my heart and soul into this thing! It was also supposed to be a poster, so I wanted to make it look REALLY good when it was blown up to Epic proportions ^_^.

As well, as of recent I re-discovered my first true Art love “Dave Dorman” and so I wanted to put to the test some of the Skillz I have been gleaning from his work. His works are always colorful and crisp, and never fail to instill emotion, so I tried, I don’t know if I succeeded but I defiantly tried ^_^.

All in all I am happy with the way this turned out…. Especially Cortana, and Halfjaw, because man… Cortana was a Bitch to get right… took me forever in a day to find the reference, and finally had to ask a friend who actually had the models to help me out (And he did… thank you Veegie!) Then figuring out how to work all the layers to get that “See-through glow” Was nuts!!! And I like halfjaw… because he is halfjaw ^_^
